FREE and Donation based for Sacramento Children’s Receiving HomeFor over 80 years CRH has been that beacon in the dark for children escaping the most traumatic of experiences – as a temporary shelter in moments of crisis, as well as residential and out-patient programs for toddlers all the way through the teen years at their six acre campus on Auburn Boulevard and out in the community.
.
.
Often times children coming to CRH can’t be placed in traditional family foster settings because they require the mental health support in a structured and safe environment. Everyday, the campus is alive with kids stepping into love and healing while continuing their school work and developing the coping and social skills to build successful lives going forward.
.
.
Some of our greatest advocates are the decades of alumni who credit the love, safety, and support they received at CRH with turning their lives around and creating the opportunity for generational change… breaking free from the cycles of addiction, abuse, and neglect.
.
.
Due to regulatory and funding changes, we find ourselves at a historic pivot point and are in the process of reinventing ourselves to serve even more families and especially transitional aged youth, those who are stepping into adulthood, but may not have the life skills or resources, to be fully independent. The timing of your offer to host a fundraising event at Leap is absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be more grateful!
