Overview:
Join Carissa and Holly at Leap’s first book club! This is a chance to read, reflect, and connect with other fellow seekers as you enrich your relationship with the heart of yoga. Each quarter we will have a new book and will meet three times for each book.
- First meeting: meet & greet, asana and meditation practice, and discussion;
- Second meeting: a check-in session where we can come back together and discuss what we’ve read, learned, and applied;
- Third meeting: a time to connect, reflect, and embody movement & breath.
What students will learn:
- Integrating yogic concepts & modalities into our own lives and day-to-day experiences
- Using reading & reflection as tools to help shape your yoga practice both on & off the mat
- Exploring new ways of thinking as they relate to the diverse voices of others and applying that to our own awareness & understanding
