Free Talk with Steve Ketscher on Love and Power – Bhakti and Shakti Ancient Mantra Meditations to Accelerate Healing and Personal Growth

June 26th from 7-8:30pm
FREE registration

Mantra Meditation is one of the most advanced spiritual technologies available on our planet today. Written down in palm leaf manuscripts as old as 7000 years, the technologies of mantra + yantra give us powerful ways to speed up our spiritual growth, develop unconditional love, and gain the power and abilities to heal ourselves and others.

The use of mantras can clear the path for you to create whatever you may need in your day-to-day life, such as health, prosperity, peace of mind and happy and healthy relationships. It also paves the way for your divine life to unfold. Mantra meditation supports you in finding your own true path by creating your personal channel to the Divine.

In this free workshop, you will learn more about these ancient spiritual technologies. You will experience the energy of meditating with a specific mantra and receive a powerful self-healing technique.

Shake It Up Flow with Yogi and the Beat

June 24th from 7:30-9pm
$15/advance registration $20/walk-in (ages 16 & under FREE)

Take time to get out of your head and Shake It Up in this 90-minute Vinyasa Yoga class with a dance-like flow lead by Heather, live drums played by Nathan and percussion instruments offered to get YOU involved. When we travel outside of our comfort zones where much is new, it challenges us to rely on your own self confidence, values and beliefs, and truly examine who we are and why we do what we do. Only then can we live deliberately rather than by default.

In this class you will :

  • Move fluidly like a dance feeling the deep vibrations and aligning breath with live drumming
  • Get in tune with your own internal rhythm and explore your bold inner creator on your mat
  • Release tension and anxiety while having a lot of FUN!

Friday Night Kirtan with Radiant Friend

Join Radiant Friend for Kirtan, call and response chanting, a practice that unites us with our highest, happiest selves. We will repeat mantras–words, phrases and syllables– to quiet our minds and allow the integration of the meaning of the mantras into our consciousness.

No musical experience necessary. Sing, listen, dance, recline or meditate to the chants.

“Chanting is a way of getting in touch with yourself. It’s an opening of the heart and letting go of the mind and thoughts. It deepens the channel of grace, and it’s a way of being present in the moment.” -Krishna Das

Radiant Friend is a multi-instrumental Kirtan band that has been active in the Sacramento area since 2010. Our hope is to introduce as many people as possible to the heart practice of chanting through Kirtan and the Dances of Universal Peace.
