AcroYoga 101 with Reno and Sheri

AcroYoga 101 with Reno and Sheri

Date: April 3rd

Time: 6:30-8:30

Investment: $30/advance registration $35/door

This 2-hour workshop will give you the fundamental techniques for bringing flight and play into your acroyoga practice. While the gravity-defying postures may look nearly impossible, with the help of Reno Gorman from The Handstand Nation and Sheri House, you’ll learn the how alignment and technique make the impossible possible.

Acroyoga combines yoga with partner acrobatics, thai yoga massage, and partner yoga stretches. It’s an incredibly fun practice that requires communication, trust, and a playful attitude, while developing a heightened sense of body awareness, core stability, strength and flexibility.

This is an all levels style class. Any experience with yoga, or dance or gymnastics, is helpful though.

You DO NOT need to come with a partner – there will be plenty of other people to play with, and we always work in groups of 3 or more, so everyone will group up with others even if you do come with a partner.
