This 3-hour prenatal primer was designed for non-prenatal certified yoga teachers and teacher trainees.  During this module we will touch on the basic principles of integrating safe yoga modifications for Prenatal and Postnatal Students in most flow-based classes.  Acquire new insight or improve your understanding about teaching to the prenatal body within a non-prenatal yoga class.  We will discuss Pre/Postnatal anatomy, physiology, and gentle precautions as we approach the importance of “Mama” mind-body connection through labor.  Gain confidence in your abilities to integrate safe flow sequences, postures and poses, pranayama, and meditation for prenatal students in your non-prenatal classes.

This class is intended as a yoga teacher primer and does not certify or qualify teachers to instruct prenatal yoga, private prenatal clients, or prenatal specialty classes.

Come prepared to move and explore the journey into yoga from the prenatal lens.
