Have you ever wanted to start a regular meditation practice but not sure how to get started? In this two-hour workshop you will discuss and experience the different types of meditations styles, including postures, where and when to meditate. The workshop includes two short gentle yoga practices to open the body and connect to the breath. There will be time for journaling, questions and discussion.
Padma has been teaching yoga since 2002, first focusing on physical practice and she quickly then fell in love with the depth of the yoga lifestyle. After experiencing a 10 day silent meditation retreat in 2013, she incorporated stillness in all aspects of her life and teachings. Padma is passionate about sharing a more approachable way to experience meditation throughout the day.
