Explore the roots of Vinyasa with this introduction to Ashtanga workshop led by Shannon Allen. Ashtanga Yoga incorporates a system of postures intelligently sequenced in such a way that improves strength and flexibility, heats and purifies the body, and brings peace and stillness to the mind.
In this workshop we will break down each posture, highlight the importance of breath in connection to movement, and offer tools in cultivating a regular yoga practice, whether dedicated to Ashtanga or another yoga discipline.
