Introduction to QOYA and Despacho Ceremony with Rocky

Date: September 21, 2024

Time: 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Investment: $40.00 adv. /$50.00 day of

THEME – EMBODIED RELATING

This is an invitation for deep listening. Listening to your body, listening to each other, listening to nature, listening to life. Notice what rises when you create space to listen, to relate to yourself and others through the body. Studies show that the biggest indicator for happiness and satisfaction in our lives is a correlation to the quality of our relationships. I look forward to seeing what emerges in us collectively as we practice deep listening.

EXPERIENCE

Qoya Inspired Movement is an embodiment practice that brings mind, body, and soul into awareness. Through meditation, yoga, dance, intuitive movement, and ceremony you are invited to strengthen your resilience, your relationship to self, nature and others while resting in your essence, and remember that like nature you are wise, wild and free.

Following our embodied practice, we will begin our Despacho Ceremony with a prayer, an innovation to the four directions to create sacred space asking for guidance, wisdom and protection.

A Despacho is an Andean ceremonial practice of making offerings to the mountains, Mother Earth, and other spirits of nature in reciprocity, reverence, and thanksgiving. It is an act of love and a reminder of the connections share with all beings, elements, spirits, and sacred places.
