Roots and Resonance
An African Kora & Sound Healing Journey
Cost: $35
When: Sunday October 18th, 6:30-8pm
“The wild does not ask you to become someone new. It simply reminds you of who you’ve always been.”
We are delighted to invite you to Roots & Resonance—an immersive evening of guided meditation, African kora, and sound healing.
Together, we will begin with a grounding meditation inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Africa. Through breath, visualization, and gentle awareness, you’ll journey across golden savannahs, beneath ancient acacia trees, through lush emerald forests alive with birdsong, beside flowing rivers, and into the quiet presence of the wild. As the sounds awaken your imagination, you’ll be guided inward to reconnect with your highest self—the part of you that is always whole, wise, and deeply at peace.
From this deeply relaxed space, you will be carried into a restorative sound journey where the soothing melodies of the kora—a beautiful 21-string West African harp from Senegal—intertwine with crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, drums, and ethereal vocals. Together, these ancient and modern healing instruments create a rich tapestry of sound that invites deep rest, emotional release, and inner renewal.
Throughout the experience, you’ll simply be invited to receive. Allow the vibrations to wash over you, soften the nervous system, quiet the mind, and open the heart. Like echoes carried across sweeping plains and whispered through ancient forests, each note becomes an invitation to remember your own inner stillness, resilience, and connection to the living world.

About the Facilitators
Madi Rane is a certified sound healer and globally trained opera vocalist who weaves together crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, drums, Sanskrit chanting, and celestial vocals to create deeply immersive healing experiences.
Joining her is Boynarr, a gifted kora player from Senegal. The kora is a traditional 21-string West African harp whose timeless melodies have been shared for centuries to tell stories, preserve history, and inspire connection. His soulful playing brings an authentic and grounding presence to this one-of-a-kind collaboration.
Many of the instruments used are tuned to frequencies found in nature, supporting deep relaxation and inviting the body and mind into a state of harmony. Just as all of existence is vibration, sound can become a gentle pathway back to balance, presence, and inner peace.
