Learn the FUNdamentals of AcroYoga with Reno Gorman – All levels welcome, no experience or partner necessary.
AcroYoga is a blend of partner yoga and acrobatics. It’s an incredibly fun movement practice that puts your yoga practice into action and connection. In this workshop you’ll learn fundamental techniques and poses so you can safely and effectively base and/or fly. The gravity defying moves may look intimidating or impossible at first, but they are a lot more doable than you might think. Not only will you develop strength, flexibility, and balance through this practice, you’ll have a lot of fun while doing it too.
No experience necessary – but any yoga, dance, or gymnastic experience is helpful!
No partner necessary – we work in groups of 3 or 4 anyways, so there’s always at least one safety spotter. And, this gives you a chance to rotate out to try another role or to take a break as needed.
No need to bring a mat. Reno will bring padded mats that work better for AcroYoga than yoga mats.
