4 Wednesday Evenings 7:30 to 9 pm, January 18 – February 8

Are you brand new to yoga or have you been practicing for a while and want to learn more? This 4-week beginner series is led by a team of amazing Leap teachers and begins with the fundamentals of yoga in a safe and engaging learning environment. Students will learn yogic breathing, proper alignment of yoga postures, and includes an introduction to yoga philosophy. Build knowledge, strength, and flexibility as you begin your yoga journey!

Discussion: What are the different styles of yoga offered at Leap and the benefits? Using props, proper alignment, and practicing safely.

Week Three: February 1st

Discussion: Energetic Body (Chakras, Yin, Yang)

Practice: Kneeling, Prone, and Supine Poses

Week Four: February 8th

Discussion: Yoga Philosophy

Practice: Warriors, Standing, and Balance Poses
