DESCRIPTION:  Give yourself the gift of deep inner nourishment with the special practice of Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing. During this session Amanda will lead you through a sequence of supportive, restful poses designed to release muscular tension, flush out toxins from the body and access deep states of relaxation. Emiliano will bless the space with the sounds of a didgeridoo, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, a tanpura, and other instruments as you travel deeper into your inner realms of consciousness. The profound level of deep relaxation that this workshop offers assists the body’s natural ability to cleanse, heal, and restore.

No experience is necessary. Please bring water and any yoga props you have; additional props will be provided by the studio. Pre-register, as space is limited.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:  Amanda Correa is an E-RYT 500 and RPYT who has been teaching yoga since 2009 and has accumulated over 3,000 hours of teaching experience.  In this workshop she teaches pranayama and the practice of restorative yoga with gentle, loving assists while also incorporating her studies of Yoga Nidra into a guided meditation.  Emiliano Jimenez-Cornejo is an Argentinian sound healing practitioner who has been playing didgeridoo for over 10 years; through practice he has discovered the healing benefits of sound and breath work. Over time he has incorporated new instruments into his sessions such as the Gong, Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls, the Tanpura, shakers, drums and more. Not only does he collect instruments from all over the world, he also makes his own Didgeridoos. Amanda and Emiliano are ecstatic to combine their gifts of teaching and sharing yoga and sound therapy.
